STEM Futures: University Pathway (formerly Virtual Insight into University) is a comprehensive online programme for students considering studying STEM at university.
Students will:
- Explore university life and what to expect from STEM study.
- Complete STEM projects and activities developed by leading UK universities and global STEM employers.
- Access first-year undergraduate-style lectures.
- Join live interactive sessions with academics, admissions tutors, employers and current university students.
- Achieve a Silver Industrial Cadets Award upon successful completion – a nationally recognised accreditation that can strengthen university, apprenticeship and employment applications.

Digital Confidence for the Workplace is a flexible online programme that students can complete in their own time. It helps participants develop the digital skills employers value while working on a real-world industry project.
Students will:
- Build practical digital workplace skills through interactive activities.
- Complete an industry-focused project.
- Gain a Silver Industrial Cadets Award on successful completion, providing valuable evidence of skills and experience for future applications and career development.
