The Design and Technology department at Carre’s Grammar School recently hosted an exciting and inspiring event, as students were given a unique glimpse into the world of high-end engineering and luxury automotive design.
What a sensational season it has been for our Year 7 basketball team! Representing the Orlando Magic in this year’s Jr. NBA competition, the boys put on a masterclass of skill, teamwork, and sheer determination. From a flawless regular season to a thrilling trip to the Finals, they have given us plenty to celebrate.

Carre's Grammar School is celebrating a significant achievement after once again being recognised among the top 10% of schools nationally for student attendance during the Spring term of the 2025/26 academic year.
Carre’s Grammar School is proud to congratulate its newly appointed prefect team, marking an exciting moment for the school community as student leaders take on their roles for the coming year.
England internationals Ollie and Lewis Chessum returned to their old stomping ground recently when they visited Carre’s Grammar School. Joined by their Leicester Tigers teammate Jack van Poortvliet, they were on hand to help raise awareness of an ambitious national initiative launched by Gallagher to boost rugby participation in schools across the UK.
Kelly Hughes, Deputy Regional Director, together with RISE Advisor, LEARN Director Emily Walker, and CIT Chief Executive Officer Peter Bell, visited Carre’s Grammar School. They were welcomed by Executive Headteacher Nick Law, who led a tour of the school, spending time across classrooms.

Carre’s marked World Book Day with a whole host of fun, book‑inspired activities. Form groups kicked off the day with energetic literary quizzes, and just before lunch, the whole school took part in a special Drop Everything And Read session.
