Book-Themed Display a Hit at Sleaford Christmas Tree Festival

Sleaford’s annual Christmas Tree Festival returned to the Methodist Church on Northgate over the weekend of 29/30 November, coinciding once again with the bustling Sleaford Christmas Market.

Among the many creative displays, Carre’s Grammar School drew particular attention with our imaginative entry, the 'Book Depositree.'

Organised by Assistant Headteacher Mrs Wilson in collaboration with the school’s PTA, the tree celebrates reading and literary favourites. It featured dozens of hand-designed cards created by students and staff, each sharing illustrations, quotes, and personal reflections on beloved books.

Visitors to the festival enjoyed a wide variety of themed trees contributed by local organisations, schools and community groups, filling the church with festive cheer and creative inspiration throughout the weekend.
