Carre’s Grammar School Outreach Programme

The Carre’s Grammar School Outreach programme began in 2004 as part of our Specialist Sports College status.

Our Mission

Through collaboration with local communities, schools, and national partners, we aim to empower schools and families to create inspired, active, and healthy futures for all children. Some of the ways we achieve this include.

• PE and Sport Advisor support
• Physical Literacy Coaching
• Weekly events and competitions
• PE profiling
• Extra-curricular clubs

Our dedicated team delivers high-quality curriculum-based PE lessons, targeted interventions, leadership development, programmes to match every child’s needs, and inclusive holiday activities.

The Impact

• Over 40 sporting events delivered each year, including competitive, try-it, and change for life opportunities
• Opportunities ranging from county finals to taster sessions for our least active young people
• Schools across our network achieving School Games Mark awards, many at gold standard
• New sports and activities introduced to inspire young people
• Contribution towards improving children’s health and wellbeing across the network
