Over the past two academic years, more than 7,000 participants have taken part in over 80 sporting events delivered through our Outreach programme. Our mission is simple: to provide every child with the right platform to explore their sporting potential and discover a lifelong love for physical activity.

We are passionate about creating environments where all children can develop confidence, skills, and enthusiasm for sport. Our events are carefully designed to meet the needs of those attending—ranging from competitive opportunities for talented young athletes, to inclusive “inspire” sessions that introduce new activities and support less confident participants.

Through the School Games, we also offer Lincolnshire Central schools a range of free targeted events, ensuring that children who need sport and physical activity most can access opportunities—whether to boost their activity levels, or to try something they may not otherwise experience outside of school.

Event Pathways

• School Sport Partnership - Part of the Lincolnshire School Games, available to all schools and free of charge. Targeted events designed for specific groups—see entry forms for details.
• Outreach Believe Series - Encouraging children to believe in their abilities and adopt active lifestyles. ‘Have a go’ events focused on building confidence and enjoyment.
• Outreach Compete Series - Competitive opportunities for schools’ best young athletes. Available to Outreach Full (Gold) Members, with progression routes and medals supported by NGBs and county structures.
• Outreach Inspire Series - Fun, inclusive sessions for children who may not make competitive teams but could benefit from trying new sports and activities. Often run in partnership with local community clubs.
• Outreach Development KS1 Festival - Engaging and playful introductions to skills and sports for Key Stage 1 pupils, helping them to understand rules and experience structured activities.
• Outreach Events - A variety of festivals and competitions available to Outreach Full (Gold) and Part (Silver) members. Details confirmed via partner communications.
